A few notes on suitability. Reset+ and Sun Protect+ are both fragrance-free. If you’re currently using another exfoliating acid or a retinoid, introduce Radiance Mantra gradually rather than adding it on top of what you already use.

How to use

The simplest way to think about the Trio: Sun Protect+ every morning, Reset+ most evenings, Radiance Mantra on two or three of those evenings before Reset+.

Morning

1. Cleanse.
2. Apply any water-based serum you use.
3. Apply Reset+ if your skin wants extra hydration — it can be used in the morning as well as the evening.
4. Finish with Sun Protect+, applied generously to face, neck and ears — roughly two finger-lengths for face and neck. Under-application reduces the protection you get.
5. Makeup, if you wear it.

Reapply Sun Protect+ during prolonged exposure, and after sweating, swimming or towel-drying.

Evening — most nights

1. Cleanse.
2. Apply any serum you use.
3. Smooth Reset+ over face and neck as your final step.

Evening — exfoliating nights (2–3 times a week)

1. Cleanse, and make sure skin is dry.
2. Apply a pea-sized amount of Radiance Mantra, massaging gently over face, neck and décolletage. Avoid the eye area and any broken or irritated skin.
3. Let it absorb.
4. Follow with Reset+ to keep skin hydrated and comfortable.

Fitting exfoliation into the week

Radiance Mantra is a treatment, not a daily cream. Start at two evenings a week and only move to three if your skin is comfortable with it — more often can bring on dryness or sensitivity. A typical week might be Radiance Mantra on Tuesday and Saturday evenings, Reset+ on the other five, and Sun Protect+ every morning.

Introducing the routine gradually

If the Trio is your first exfoliating acid, begin with Reset+ and Sun Protect+ for a week or two, then add Radiance Mantra once weekly and build from there. An exfoliating acid on its own is the harder purchase to get right — it asks for daily SPF alongside it and something comforting to follow it. Buying the three together means the support is already there on the evening you first use Radiance Mantra, rather than something you add later.

When do I use each one?

Sun Protect+ every morning, last. Reset+ in the evening, and in the morning too if your skin wants extra hydration. Radiance Mantra on two or three evenings a week, before Reset+.

Do I have to use all three together?

No. Radiance Mantra is an occasional evening treatment, Reset+ an everyday moisturiser, Sun Protect+ a morning step. The only pairing in one sitting is Radiance Mantra followed by Reset+ — and Reset+ under Sun Protect+ in the morning, if your skin is on the dry side.

Can I start gradually?

Yes. Reset+ and Sun Protect+ can both be daily from the start; Radiance Mantra is the one to ease into, beginning at once a week. If you already have an SPF you like, you can leave Sun Protect+ for later and start with the other two.

How often should I use Radiance Mantra?

Two evenings a week to begin with, rising to three only if your skin stays comfortable. It’s an active exfoliating formula, so daily use is too much for most skin types.

Do I still need SPF while using an exfoliating acid?

Does Sun Protect+ replace my moisturiser in the morning?

Reset+ and Sun Protect+ are both fragrance-free, so the two creams you use daily contain no added scent. Radiance Mantra is the only one in the set with fragrance. If you’re fragrance-sensitive, patch test it before first use and introduce it slowly.
